How to make possible high pour point crude introduction to your refinery?
Recently WRT BV helped one of his customers in North Europe to introduce a high pour point crude in its refinery. WRT BV tested additive, provided doping system, and specialized engineers to manage the operation.
Additive has been doped during crude oil discharge, and it showed 21 °C reduction in PP, enabling refinery to safely process this crude.
Another similar application has been successfully performed in the same refinery at the beginning of the year, and another successful doping has been performed in another European terminal in 2024.
With this second positive trial, refinery is confident in the possibility to introduce more high pour point crudes in its crude oil basket, profiting of market opportunities for processing more profitable crude oils.
